Root Canal

Sher Dental offers our patients the option of endodontic treatment in lieu of extractions, known as root canal treatment (RCT). This common procedure involves removing nerve tissue within a tooth’s roots and filling the now empty canals with material. Sher Dentals likes to think of it as a filling, but one that is inside your tooth’s roots. This is a pain-free procedure as your tooth will be numb before starting. Prior to development of this therapy, the only option for either tooth fractures or deep infections was extraction. RCT allows us to save teeth that otherwise would be lost.
