Retainers

Following the removal of braces, it’s important to ensure the teeth remain in their newly adjusted position. Retainers aid in this process, and are normally worn for the same amount of time as the just-removed braces. They can be made of wire or plastic, and—depending on the requirement of the individual patient—can be either fixed or removable.
